Beverly A. Winslow, 71, of Asheboro, N.C., moved to Heaven in the early morning Thursday, April 18, 2019. She will be missed, but we take comfort knowing she is now present with the Lord.
Beverly was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Randolph County, N.C. She attended Asheboro High School and later moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C., where she lived for many years; three years ago, Beverly returned to her hometown. Beverly was a gifted artist; she saw beauty in things most people wouldn’t notice. Her heart was for her children and grandchildren — she so desired the best for each one.
Beverly has two daughters, Regina and Angela Todd; one son, Lemar Haselden Jr.; six grandchildren, Teresa, Jessica, Jennifer, David, Shawn and Stoney; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Neal Winslow and Greg Winslow; and one sister, Deborah Garner. These family members know they will see Beverly again — because of their hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, April 28, at 1 p.m. at Victory Church, 1087 McDowell Road, Asheboro, N.C., with Pastors David and Deborah Garner officiating. Family/friends visitation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to Victory Church, P.O. Box 697, Asheboro, NC 27204.
