Darling Onzelle Stutz

November 15, 1948 ~ August 25, 2018 (age 69)

Asheboro- Darling Onzelle Stutz, 69, passed away August 25, 2018 at the Randolph Hospice House.  Born November 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late George Lewis Cox and Mary Annie Rickman Cox.

Mrs. Stutz was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Ricky Stinson, her sisters; Vera Hardin and Juanita Bassinger, her brothers; Lewis & James Cox.

She is survived by her husband; Lawrence Stutz, sons; Christopher Stinson of Randleman, NC, Buddy Stinson of Asheboro, NC, Matthew Stutz of Durham, NC, and Justin Stutz of Los Angeles, CA, brothers; Arthur Dennis Cox of Asheboro, NC, Elsin Marshall Cox of Tarboro, NC, Wade Cox of Wilmington, NC, and Maynard Cox of Murrells Inlet, SC, nephew; Douglas Cox of the home, granddaughters; Lindsay Garren of Kernersville, NC, and Shelby Farrell of Charleston, SC, grandsons; Tylr Stinson of Randleman, NC and  Skylr Stinson of Asheboro, NC, as well as many other nieces and nephews and several great grandchildren.

A home going celebration for Darling will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 with visitation starting at 1:00pm and services at 2:00pm at Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service, 304 Lanier Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 2900 N Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or the Randolph County SPCA, 300 W Bailey St, Asheboro, NC 27203
