Keaton Scott Hunt, 20, of Asheboro, NC, went to his heavenly home on June 12, 2019. Keaton was a fine young man and a good boy. He loved his family, friends and church. He never missed worship on Sunday. Everyone who knew him, knew they could count on him to be there for anything they needed. Keaton truly loved the ocean, and felt like scuba diving made everything in life better! Keaton had a servant heart and lived out Christ’s commandment to love one another, evident in the ways he cared for others. Keaton, a 2017 graduate of Asheboro High School, will be greatly missed by all, especially his family who loves him so much.
Keaton’s love continues on for his devoted Mom Susan Hunt, Father Tim Campbell, and sisters Ella Campbell, Carey Hullinger and husband Ross, brother Tyler Campbell and wife Dana. He is also survived by Grandparents Barbara Hunt and Ray and Mary Campbell, Aunts and Uncles, Ginger Hunt, Scott and Corey Hunt, Sherrie and Van Parks, Todd and Sarabeth Campbell, cousins Cruz Parral, Jaxon Campbell, Avery Campbell, Jon Thomas and wife Emily, niece Kepler Hullinger, nephew Colby Campbell, and Keaton’s girlfriend, Hyland Brooke.
Keaton’s life will be celebrated and we will honor his ultimate act of love and courage by being an organ donor. As he did in life, he will continue to give selflessly. Services will be held at 2:30PM on Sunday June 16th in the main sanctuary of First United Methodist Church, Asheboro with the Rev. Lynda Ferguson officiating. A time of fellowship will follow the service in the Asbury Center. For those who can not attend the service, it will be livestreamed at www.fumcasheboro.org.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church with attention to the Keaton Scott Hunt Memorial Fund. Please send donations to 224 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro NC 27203. Services entrusted to Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service.
