Randleman- Nancy Suzanne Trogdon Haney, 69, passed away, March 5th, 2019, at her home by the side of her family and friends after a long fight with cancer. Born, March 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late James Edward “Ed” Trogdon and Virginia Duggins Trogdon.
Nancy was a lifelong member of Randolph County, NC. She spent 20 years of her life working at 220 Video in Randleman, as well as a Cosmetologist. Nancy was a very caring and loving person who never met a stranger, she was definitely a people person and loved talking to new people whenever the opportunity arose. She loved the beach, Elvis, and collected anything that had to do with pigs. She always looked forward to her annual trip to California to see her friends Darryn & Ralph, but most of all Nancy loved her family and friends with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter who passed at birth, Amanda Suzanne; and her granddaughter, Emily Halliburton. She is survived by her husband, Mike Haney; her four children, Alan Beane (Kelly), Randy Macon (Sandy), Jenny Halliburton (John) and Travis Haney (Dana); 18 grandchildren; the birth of her first great grandchild due in July, and her 4-legged best friend and protector, who never left her side, Weezy.
A visitation will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service, 304 Lanier Ave, Asheboro, NC 27203 with a celebration of her life to start at 3:00pm.
