Wilburn Lewis Freeman Jr., 75 of Lexington, passed away on July 18, 2018 at Lexington Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 4 - 6 p.m. Saturday August 4th at the Lexington Moose Lodge, 169 Moose Lodge Road.
Lewis was born April 9th, 1943 in Davidson County to Wilburn Lewis Freeman Sr. and Annie Lou Holder Freeman. He retired with 30 years of service to the United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 brothers Ronald, Kent, Billy, and Chuck Freeman.
Surviving are his daughters Kimberly Freeman Soles (Andy) of Houston, TX, and Heather Dionne Chrisco (Johnny) of Prattville, AL; 4 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and sisters-in-law.
Lewis married Linda Freeman in 1972, and they raised two daughters together. He honorably served 4 years in the U.S. Army. He was an avid golfer, loved to watch NASCAR, and was a passionate UNC fan.
