Obituary
Seagrove- Alma Lanier Frye, 89, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023 at her home. Born April 11, 1933 in Randolph County, she was the daughter of the late H. Wade Lanier and Sula Monnie Elliott.
Alma graduated class of 1951 from Farmer High School in Farmer, NC. She was a sewer with Klaussner’s Furniture for 25 years before her retirement. She enjoyed collecting bells and thimbles and working as a seamstress.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Winburn Frye; and her siblings, Jack Lanier, Gerald Lanier, Sidney Malcolm Lanier, Betty Russell, Evelyn Gallimore, Richard Lanier and Wanda Lanier.
Alma is survived by her daughters, Patsy Newsom and her husband Clarence, Lynne William, and Joy Ramirez and her husband Jorge; grandchildren, Douglas Newsom, Angela Gould, Chris Newsom, Tina Wilson, and Randy Ramirez; as well as 10 great grandchildren.
