Our beautiful, brave mother, Connie Marlene Biggers Concutelli, 85, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from a lung disease. She was brought into the world on January 11,1936 in Rockford, Illinois.
An active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she taught Sunday school, was a member of the Parish Council and shared her alto voice with the choir for over 30 years. She was a volunteer for Randolph Health for 10 yrs., with more than 1000 hours of service given. There were few things Connie liked more than the beach except maybe bingo or a margarita.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Helen Biggers, her sister Carol Biggers Reed and the love of her life, Lauro Concutelli, to whom she was married for 50 years.
Connie is survived by her loving family, Laurine Concutelli (Sam) Varner, daughter, Anthony Concutelli, son, both of Asheboro. Grandchildren Christina Villa, Adrianna Villa, John Villa and Nicholas Concutelli.
We’d like to thank everyone at Woodland Hills Center for their compassionate care. After cremation, all are welcome to join us for a memorial mass at 12 pm on Saturday, June 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Asheboro.
