Dillion Zayne Wirt, age 23, of Asheboro tragically and unexpectedly passed away Sunday, February 7th, 2021. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Brad and Brittany Wirt; his mother and step father, Patricia and Robert Jenkins; and siblings Wesley Wirt and wife Taylor, Cameron Wirt, Peyton Avery, Tristan Wirt and Axton Wirt. He is also survived by grandparents Jeff and Barbara Moody and Norma Greene.
Dillion was a 2017 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School. He was a hard worker who was known for his determination and motivation. Dillion loved his family and always put them first, but his kind heart and loyalty didn't end with them. He was a selfless and caring person who would lend anyone in need a helping hand. Some of Dillion's hobbies included welding, woodworking and anything he could create with his hands as well as listening and rapping to his favorite songs. He also loved to spend time outdoors. His favorite outdoor activities were fishing with his brothers, go kart riding, camping, swimming and bonfires with his cousins. He is largely remembered for his sense of humor and infectious grin that could bring a smile to anyone's face.
A service to honor and remember Dillion will be held Saturday, February 20th at Browers Wesleyan Church in Asheboro. The family will receive friends wishing to show their support from 12:30 until 2pm with a funeral service to follow directly after. A virtual service will be available to view live on the Facebook page of Browers Wesleyan Church.
