Obituary
Biscoe- Erskin Benjamin Jr, 88, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Born April 15, 1935 in Moore County he was the son of the late Erskin Benjamin, Sr and Dora Wallace Benjamin.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Big Oak Christian Church, 3627 Bensalem Church Rd, Biscoe, NC 27209.
Mr. Benjamin worked for many years with Merita Bread Company. He enjoyed CB Radio, going to go-cart races, animals, and eating his favorite snacks of Little Debbie cookies; moon pies; and Reese’s Peanut Butter.
Mr. Benjamin is survived by his daughter, Alah Daywalt and her husband Kevin; step grandchildren, Jeremy Daywalt and Eddie Daywalt; adopted daughter, Cindy Geffen; sister, Peggy Maness and her husband Melvin as well as host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Benjamin; infant brother; and infant granddaughter.
