Ethan Alexander Clark, 30, of Coleridge passed away December 22, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer.
Ethan was born on July 3rd, 1992 to Eddie and Angela Clark. He is survived by his wife and daughter Danielle and Nora Clark, parents Eddie and Angela Clark, grandpa Paul Hayes, brothers Dalton Clark (Allie Moran), Mason and Tiffany Clark, nieces and nephew, Remi, Dixie, Elle, and Colton, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ethan and his family want to thank his medical team at Duke and care teams at Hospice of Stanly and Randolph County Hospice House for the excellent care he received. A special, warm thank you to Dr. Wang, Julie, Angela, Bri, Ashley, Sarabeth, and Tara. Thank you for laughing with us, celebrating the highs, and holding our hands through the lows.
Ethan lived his life to the fullest. Everywhere he went, he won people over with both his humor and warmth.
Beginning at a young age, Ethan excelled at sports playing football, basketball, and his favorite, baseball. He loved sharing memories of time spent with his teammates and friends.
Ethan enjoyed camping and being outdoors with his wife. He looked forward to teaching Nora to golf. He loved making friends, and considered everyone his ‘brother.’
In his mid twenties, the Lord called Ethan into ministry. He spent time serving in youth ministry and as the assistant pastor at Sawyersville Wesleyan Church and as pastor at Kildee Wesleyan Church.
Throughout his cancer journey, Ethan was sustained through his faith in God. Ethan passed away eagerly looking forward to meeting the Lord face to face. His greatest desire was that his family and friends would know the same peace in the Lord.
