Obituary

Asheboro- Floyd Wayne Hineline, Sr, 77, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at Westwood Health and Rehab in Archdale. Born February 3, 1945 in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Francis Hineline and Lottie Todd Hineline.

Floyd graduated from Phillipsburg High School in New Jersey. Floyd was baptized in the 60’s at Destination Heaven. He was a proud veteran of the Army where he served as a Sergeant from 1963-1968 until his honorable discharge. He worked as a mechanic for Thomas Tire for many years. He enjoyed decorating his cars and spending time with his dog, Bella.

Floyd is survived by his children, Christine and her husband Earl Jerome Spruill, Michael Hineline and his wife Susan; and Floyd Hineline Jr; his longtime partner, Geneva Pollock; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his children, Jodi, Justin and Janel.

A memorial service for Floyd will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5 PM at the Midstate Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 304 Lanier Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
