Randleman — Glenda “Lee” Jefferies, 61, of Randleman, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020.
Lee was a sweet soul who had a larger-than-life personality and never met a stranger. She was a devoted and loving mother, nana, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved all and was a mother to everyone.
She home schooled all 5 of her children and instilled the importance of a personal relationship with God, and community servitude to each. She lived her life as she taught. She spent most her professional life as a Security Officer Supervisor protecting and serving on 10 different sites over a 15-year span.
Lee was loved by all who knew her. She was selfless in her deeds and magnificently wise; always bringing up her personal relationship with God. If there was ever a day you needed guidance or a word of encouragement, she always had an answer.
Lee was originally from Valdosta G.A., but found her way to N.C. in the 1970’s by being a traveling puppeteer. In the 90’s she ran a clown ministry and held a cell group in her home.
Walking into her home you can see the love of western décor and how she enjoyed the classic’s such as I love Lucy and a Christmas story.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, Feb.02, at 1p.m, 4471 Osborn Mill, Asheboro, N.C.
Surviving are her children, (Bud) Raymond Shropshire and wife Selena Shropshire, (Bubba) Daniel Shropshire and wife Kyndra Shropshire, Ashlee Shropshire, David Shropshire, and Victoria Shropshire; grandchildren, Dylan Shropshire, Noah Shropshire, Jozlyn Shropshire, Serenity Shropshire, Jalen Ramsey, Carolina Ramsey, Luke Shropshire, Bryce Shropshire, Carson Shropshire; brother, Charles Vaughn of Valdosta GA; sister, Ginger Vaughn of Valdosta GA. and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
