Hazel Hinshaw Allred, 90, of Asheboro, passed away suddenly on October 26, 2020 at Randolph Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Kathryn Allred of Cypress, TX; Rusty Hurley of Asheboro, whom she considered a son; niece Cindy Wilkins of Asheboro; the entire Doris Craven family who adopted Hazel as one of their own; and her beloved, constant canine companion Sammie, who has found another generous, loving home. A lifelong resident of Asheboro, she was married to the late Ervin Allred of Franklinville. After Asheboro Community College, she was first a public accountant then Office Manager at Honda Cars of Asheboro and retired in 2019 as Office Manager of Quality Auto Sales. Hazel has been a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Asheboro.
A celebration of her life will be at Randolph Memorial Park on Friday, November 6, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel Mausoleum. Inurnment is afterward.
