Asheboro- Kenneth Leon Jalbert, Sr, 77, passed away, Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Randolph Hospice House. Born March 11, 1943, in Aroostook County, Maine, he was the son of the late Louis Jalbert and Anna Cyr Jalbert.
Kenneth proudly served as Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp from 1961-1967. In 1971, he married his childhood sweetheart Beverly, and they had two children. He worked in the Home Improvement industry until his retirement in 2006, when he then relocated to Asheboro, NC. He attended St Joseph’s Catholic Church of Asheboro and was a member of both CPL. Johnny A Williamson Detachment Marine Corp League and the YMCA where he also volunteered.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Melissa Koskelowski (Jason); siblings, Claude Jalbert, Claudette Collin(P.D.), Romeo Jalbert , and Gerald Jalbert (Ethel); sister in law, Daphne McKay; and grandchildren, Baylee, Braxton, Parker, Kylie, Madison, Samantha, and Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly I. Jalbert; son, Kenneth Jalbert Jr; sister, Priscilla Plourde; sister in law, Ann Jalbert; brother in law, Elwood McKay and his parents.
