On March 9, 2023, Laura Roocke Murphy, a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandma, passed away in her sleep. Born in New York on July 8, 1963, Laura will be remembered for her bright smile, quick-witted humor, generous spirit and loving her family fiercely.
Laura is survived by her husband, Shawn Murphy, son, Michael Murphy, in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Murphy and Mr. and Mrs. JR Short, grandchildren, Abbigail Mantone and Aydian Murphy, seven brothers and sisters, and multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Roocke, her mother, Vonabell Roocke and nephew, Brian Anderson.
