Pleasant Garden- Lynda Hawkins Mizell, 73, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Born May 20, 1948 in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of Estelle & Keith Holloran and Dexter Hawkins.
Lynda received her high school education from EC Glass High School in Lynchburg. She was a bus driver for 10 years with Randolph County School Systems.
Lynda was preceded in death by her father, Dexter, and her step-father, Keith Holloran. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bobby Mizell; children, Farrah Mizell Beeson and her husband Jason, Gary Childress and his wife Krista, and Laura Childress; grandchildren, Kacie Beeson, McKenzie Beeson, and Noah Beeson; mother, Estelle, and sister, Debbie Hawkins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Lynda’s honor to Providence Friends Meeting, 2054 Providence Church Rd, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.
