Obituary

Martha Ellen "Marti" Jessup, 67, of Ramseur, passed away on April 19, 2022 at Randolph Health.  

Martha was born on August 7,1954 in Randolph County to her loving parents Jean and Shirley Jessup.  She was a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and was a member of Worthville Baptist Church. Martha worked for Asheboro City Schools as a custodian for several years before becoming disabled. She enjoyed singing especially at church, reading, and had a love for writing. 

She is survived by her daughters, Brook Farlow and husband Jerry and Brandi Hagerman and husband John of Asheboro; grandson, Madison Farlow and granddaughters Caroline Farlow, Kendall Hagerman, and Morgan Hagerman of Asheboro; her Aunt Phoebe Jessup Burkheart of Ramseur, Cousin Jeff Hayes and (wife) Becky of Ramseur, and Uncles David and wife Joyce of Ramseur and Tony Jessup of Beckley, WV.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, 3:00 pm at Worthville Baptist Church,1053 Castlerock Rd, Randleman, NC 27316 with Pastor Junior Dawkins officiating.
