Obituary
Sophia- Mitchell M. Denny, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Randolph Hospice Home. Born February 22, 1950 in Macon, NC, he was the son of the late Victor Denny and Lexie Fuller Denny.
A graveside service with viewing will be held at the mausoleum chapel at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, NC on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 12:00pm.
Mr. Denny was a knitter for over 50 years. He enjoyed delivering newspapers and going to the beach. In addition to his parents, Mr. Denny was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Jones Denny; and his brother, Norman Denny.
Mr. Denny is survived by his step-daughter, Lori Yates Hill and her husband Charles “Stephen”; grandchildren, Tara Hill Bobb, Miranda Hill, and Brandon Hill; great grandchildren, Kiley and Nora; and siblings, Ralph, Reginald, Jeff, Charlotte and Ann.
