Tammy Todd Lassiter, 61, of Trinity, North Carolina passed away on September 29, 2021, at Randolph Hospice House after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
She was born on August 25, 1960, in High Point, North Carolina. Tammy was a wonderful wife and an amazing mother. She loved her family more than anything in this world. She will be missed terribly by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Howard Todd.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lassiter, Jr. of the home. She leaves behind her children, Gina Rutledge, Ashley Lassiter, Carla Lassiter, Easton Lassiter and Olivia Lassiter. She is also survived by her mother, Carolyn Weir and four brothers Timothy Todd, Tony Todd, Leonard Hudspeth and Jonathan Spence. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Aydan Rutledge, Eli Rutledge, Chloe McCrary and Dillon Poole and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their thanks to those who helped care for Tammy over the last few years. Thank you to Dr. Beth Hodges, Dr. Rebecca Tat, Pruitt Hospice, Universal Healthcare, Randolph Hospital and Randolph Hospice House.
There will be a memorial service held in her honor on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 3 pm at the Chapel of Midstate Cremation & Funeral Service in Asheboro, NC.
