Vickie Sue (Albaugh) Quinn

Vicki Sue Quinn, age 61, passed away March 16, 2023 at her home in Siler City. A native of Rogers Ohio, Vicki was born April 23, 1961 to the late Robert and Gladys “Mamie” Albaugh. She received her nursing degree from CCCC in Sanford and worked as an LPN or 16 years with Home Health Nursing. She married the love of her life, Robert Quinn on September 15, 1989 in Siler City.

In her leisure, Vicki enjoyed reading, shopping, spending time with family and pets, watching the television show ‘Big Bang Theory’ and taking care of others. She had a dedicated and generous spirit, donating monthly to causes that she cared deeply for, including ASPCA, No Kid Hungry, Wounded Warriors, and St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory Albaugh, aunt Marilyn Jeanne McPherson, uncle Louis McPherson, and her cousins Ross and Jeffrey McPherson.

Vicki leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Robert Quinn, her son Zachary Quinn and his wife Chelsea along with her grandchildren Taylor and Luke Simpson, daughter Alexis Quinn, step daughters Heather Quinn and Suzanne Gaines, and step son Ryan Quinn. She is also survived by her sister, and best friend, Diane Brady, nieces Alycia Briones, Randi Williams, Hailey Hayhurst, Brenleigh Gaines and Kaiden Quinn Hoover, nephews Collin Hayhurst, Stone Gaines, Damian Gioia Jr and Kenneth Hoover lll, her animals which she adored, Tinkerbell, Chloe, Stormi and Bambi, and the family that she worked alongside of as a dedicated nurse, Larry, Alana and Andy Pharrish.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
